Eden Education Program

Over the last five years, our program has supported over 1,630 students in the greater Capital Region through community solar farm site visits, in-school workshops, live STEM webinars, and STEAM scholarships.

Site visits

Eden has 19 pollinator-friendly community solar farms in various stages of construction and operation within the greater Capital Area. We work with your school to coordinate visits to the solar farm that best fits your educational needs. Each visit consists of a tour of the site and hands-on activities, delivered by our experienced education specialists.

In school workshops

Our workshops are delivered by experienced educators and tailored to ensure topics and activities are relevant to your class curriculum. Popular workshops include: measuring your carbon footprint, solar circuits, solar ovens, solar car racing, solar toy design, and biodiversity studies.

Live STEM webinars

As part of our transition to net zero, it is estimated that 14 million new jobs will be created in energy globally by 2030. To support this transition we are offering two STEM webinars this academic year. Students will sign on virtually and participate from their classrooms, meeting industry professionals to discover career paths and education opportunities in Green STEM careers.
