Get to know Eden: 5 Questions with Dana Alia
Dana Alia enters the renewables sector as one of the two project coordinators Eden recently hired. His diverse background in sustainability consulting, project management, and business development will be useful in achieving many of Eden’s goals. His passion to “reverse societal extractive measures and mitigate climate change through a more circular economy” makes him an important member of the team.
Get to know the guy behind the tie by reading his answers to our 5 questions below:
Eden: What do you look forward to in this role?
Dana: I look forward to diving into the renewable industry and being a part of the process from inception to a renewable-generated lit lightbulb. I also look forward to being a part of the on-site biodiversity partnerships (and fresh honey, of course).
Eden: What do you plan to bring to this role from your previous experiences?
Dana: I hope to bring a new perspective to problem-solving.
Eden: Who would you say is your biggest supporter?
Dana: Is it too cliche to say family here? I could not have made it through my first year of graduate studies, internships, and work while still being a present husband, father, and son without the unquestionable support from those I love.
Eden: What do you hope to achieve while at Eden?
Dana: I hope to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the solar industry and understand the larger impacts of the industry on the environmental, social, and governance issues it touches on.
Eden: And finally, share one interesting fact about you that not many people know about.
Dana: My favorite cycling modality is track racing, more specifically, the Madison race.
Thanks, Dana! We’re glad to have you on board.
