Second Schodack community solar project wins approval

Cedar Hill Approved.png

In July, Cedar Hill Solar became our sixth approved community solar farm in the Capital District, and the second of our projects approved in Schodack. Once built, it will have a capacity of 7.5 MW, producing enough green electricity to power about 1,225 average-sized homes, which is comparable to planting 10,000 trees per year.

Just as with all our other solar projects, priority subscription will be offered to Schodack residents before construction begins. Reserve your spot today.

The other five, which are scheduled to break ground next year subject to the pandemic, are Oak Hill Farm I and II in Duanesburg, Van Epps and Mohawk View in the Town of Glen, and Elmbrook in Schodack. For details, visit Solar Projects.
