We’re urgently hiring to fill the position of Project Coordinator at our Troy office.

No prior project coordination experience is required, but an interest in the renewables and energy sector and a willingness to learn and take ownership of projects are highly preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:

This role will provide project coordination to support the team in the development of renewable energy projects from site identification and development through to construction and operation.

This includes but not limited to:

  • Site finding activities

  • Site assessments

  • Securing grid connection offers

  • Mapping of sites for internal and external use

  • Assisting in the consenting process

  • Assisting in the asset sale process

  • Providing IT support to the office and business operations

  • Any other support management requires

  • The job requires you to drive, in order to carry out various tasks, such as site visits

  • Other tasks related to specialty field (IT, HR, etc.)

KEY TASKS:

  • Tracking all grid applications to ensure no key response or payment milestones are missed. The loss of a grid connection offer may result in disciplinary action

  • Use of mapping and research tools to identify potential sites for development

  • Tracking project activity information such as key risks, issues, commitments, timings and milestones

  • Completing and submitting grid applications to the Distribution Network Operators

  • Producing maps and plans required for grid applications, legal agreements and planning surveys/ reports

  • Providing ad hoc administration support to the development team

  • Liaising with external consultants, contractors and suppliers in relation to activities and services required for projects

  • Populating data rooms and assisting with responding to due diligence queries in order to assist the asset sale process

  • Providing IT support to the office and team to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations including: dealing with hardware, software and service providers, operating a helpdesk service for IT issues and queries, reviewing IT systems for on-going efficiency and functionality

  • Ensuring the office and kitchen is kept clean, tidy and appropriately stocked at all times

  • Any other support management may require.
