Bug Hotel

Materials: Bug hunt activity, bug box or magnifying glass, sheet or tarp, bug net, pipette, bug hotel materials (e.g. straw, twigs, stones, string and bricks)

Students explore different insect habitats, explain how body parts help them survive, and build a bug hotel, using the best materials for the habitat. Students then monitor the hotel and record insect activity and behaviors over time.
